Ellen Allien is just so talented I can't even stand it. Her understanding of minimalist industrial synth is incredible and her vocal work--even if she doesn't have a perfect voice--is so spot on. Love.

I'm such a hipster, right? Too bad this is such an earworm. :P

Cursor Miner -- Errors in My Mind

Creepy and epic at the same time. Also pretty nice lyrics, in an extended metaphor kind of way.

Aqua -- If the World Didn't Suck (We Would All Fall Off)

Aqua. Not a bad power anthem, if a little dated. Still, I'm super glad their back.

Metric -- Calculation Theme

Deceptively simple, with an endless, effortless synth line. It really is an amazing track and one of my favorites by Metric.

Pink Martini -- Lilly

Not the song I wanted to share today, but the one I wanted (Yuuzuki by Pink Martini, featuring Saori Yuki) isn't on youtube. If I knew how to make videos, I would. It's a fantastic song and Saori-san's voice is haunting.

No doubt this song is also quite adorable and catchy, but again, it wasn't what I wanted for today.

Furcast -- Grey is Old

Creepy and weird, with a beautiful atmosphere. I don't know what this is or what Furcast calls this genre, but I wish they'd make more of it.
